Our structural department operates from a 10 bay workshop serviced by gantry cranes. Guillotining and pressing up to 3 meters by 12 mm is carried out in-house. Our team of certified welders and engineers can handle up to 80 tonnes of fabricated steelwork per month. This contract involved the supply, fabrication, painting and erection of McDonald’s Lime No 1 Lime hopper and support steel. The hopper was approximately 4m wide x 7m long and 10m high and weighed approximately 18 tonne. It was fabricated and transported to site in one piece and erected using both 80 tonne and 30 tonne cranes.
