The SolarSpring water purification system is a compact system for autonomous cleaning and disinfectionm filtration and ultrafiltration of surface and ground water. The water filter purification system can be operated via solar power or mains power grid. The combination of ultrafiltration, activated carbon filtration and UV-disinfection allows a chemical-free and efficient water production from dirty and microbiological contaminated water sources like rivers, lakes or wells. The multi barrier system design (MBS) covers the entire treatment chain from pumping and cleaning up to disinfection and storage.
High-quality components, automatic operation with PLC and remote online monitoring are the features of this water purification system. Automatic backflush and intelligent energy management make the system extremely efficient, low-maintenance and ideal for remote applications.

Ultrafiltration
Ultrafiltration is a chemical free method that is the essence of the SolarSpring Water Purification Systems, included in the SolarSpring units are timers and other instruments that ensure the filtration membrane is automatically looked after and clean flushed regularly. This ensures the filtration is working to its best to provide a continual stream of clean drinking water for your entire house or facility. The only chemicals used are the occasional filtration membrane cleaning process.
Carbon filters for water filtration are made by using a fine source or carbon. For filtering coconut shells are the most widely used and are a highly renewable source.
One gram of activated carbon has a surface area more than 3,000 m2 which is excellent for filtration and does a great job filtering water
